I was at an industry event in February 2020 and we got commemorative T-shirts. My son has since claimed my shirt as one of his favorite pajama shirts, so every time he wears it, I’m reminded of The Last Normal Time.
I think about that conference a lot and how everything has changed since then, but I rarely think about the covid parts of the covid years.
Movies that showed how it was (Glass Onion comes to mind, at least toward the beginning of the movie) are weird to watch now because it’s like an amnesia of sorts for me. I really stuffed those memories in a hole. It was a hard time and we were relatively fortunate in so many ways.
