Ctrl Alt-Right Delete is a weekly newsletter by Melissa Ryan, a veteran organizer and expert in countering far-right extremism and the intersection of tech, culture, and politics.

Melissa’s work on CARD is currently featured in the Obama Presidential Center Library as a story to inspire young changemakers to bring change home to their communities.

Melissa is widely recognized as one of the foremost experts on right-wing online extremism, and President Barack Obama, NPR, The Washington Post, NBC, and dozens of other outlets and leaders have cited her work. Melissa was selected for the 2023 inaugural cohort of Obama Foundation USA Leaders and serves as Board Chair for Netroots Nation. Previously, she was a digital consultant for non-profits and Democratic political campaigns.
