My exact point. Out of the 1500-1700 people polled in Arkansas or Mississippi is what all of America thinks? No, it isn’t. I was always a believer in main stream media until 2016. That’s when I realized that the bottom line is just that. Money, money, money. It’s all sensationalism. Too bad really.
Excellent article. Especially after just reading the Hill article on Dem senators distancing from Biden. I think being forced to vote for an old man who can't even walk is ridiculous.
I'm not sure how polls are generally conducted these days, decades ago it was almost exclusively over the phone. I know I never answer an unknown number and never engage online polls, so results from someone like me are never going to show up in polls. That said this election is important enough that we should take nothing for granted. Remember, Trump is willing to suspend the constitution and create internment camps. 🤢🤮
There have been a lot of changes in polling, including adding text and internet surveys. I'm not sure anyone has it down, but I do think generally polling is better than it was in 2016. But generally I don't think the media covers polling very well, which means voters don't get the full story. It's a real problem.

Vote Blue.

I totally agree re polls. They are basing all of the results on polling 1,500 people. Those people are, many times, in very red areas. Polls are b.s.
My issue is more about how polls are covered in the press.
