(I realize that last can be debated, as Heather Cox Richardson's 2020 title HOW THE SOUTH WON THE CIVIL WAR suggests.) Or, going way back in time, that David "didn't lose" to Goliath? Come to think of it, that's not a bad analogy to Media Matters going up against an agency of the federal government.
Don't usually count not losing as a "win" but I'll take anything these days.
