I'm very proud of my Govenor, JB Pritzker for standing up to Trump and his horrendous policies. I really had hope that Gavin Newsom would as well. I understand reaching across the aisle but this is very disappointing.

Join task forces. Hospital boards make policies for local health departments; it is very important to attend their board meetings. Getting a progressive point of view known to representatives is crucial, so the reps don't only hear from vocal conservatives.
I am extremely disappointed in Governor Newsom's choice of interviewee Kirk, a known rabidly hateful, anti-LGBTQ and racist against Blacks, person. I get a politician who wants to be president tries to appeal to many voters, but .... really... this was horrible.

Prove it in a peer reviewed study should be the response. I am appalled by your recent anti-transgender comments to Charlie Kirk on your podcast. Trump & his MAGA goons have been attacking & harassing transgender people incessantly since 1/20/25. These attacks are wrong, hurtful, & threaten the lives of 220,000 of your transgender constituents. You have just aided & abetted Trump in normalizing discrimination against transgender people. You have fallen hook, line & sinker for Trump's trap. When Trump succeeds in normalizing discrimination against transgender people, he will expand to normalizing discrimination against the broader LGBTQ+ community & women, and on & on and on. Your words were loud & clear - your electoral appeal & success is more important to you than doing the right thing for your constituents. This is important information for your voters to know. You'll only have their backs if it is politically expedient.
The leader we need is the one who will figure out what paved the way for Trump and do something about it. It was our education system that’s been hijacked and hollowed out by fascists for decades. We need the leader who will listen to teacher whistleblowers at WhiteChalkCrime.com and rescue the called-to-teach teachers for democracy to have a chance. Citizens need to help make this happen by learning from and supporting these dedicated teachers.
