I wish Dems had done more the last time we had the majority. Especially post-insurrection. Hopefully the next majority will be more aggressive on this front.
When they did create the Jan. 6th commission they got pathetically little cooperation from the GOP. Now I feel like some Republicans are starting to resist Trump destroying their party and I'm conflicted between wanting them to wake up and be better Americans and the desire to see the GOP eat itself.
I completely agree, dems have got to stop being so timid and take some bold steps to expand the court, eliminate the filibuster and electoral college and add dc and Puerto Rico as states. Ratify the ERA!

I'm also glad to hear that you will be taking a week off. Your grandfather sounds like a wonderful man, may he always remain alive in the hearts of your family.
